Café Torpanranta is located at the seaside in Munkkiniemi, Western Helsinki. Due to its beautiful location, the Café is a popular place where hundreds of city people and tourists
come to enjoy the sun and the sea on the terrace. In winter, you can come to warm up after outdoor activities to enjoy hot drinks and soup, or just watch skiers, skaters and
wind surfers on the ice. The Café serves also as a lunch restaurant for many business people working in Western Helsinki or Espoo and a venue for private parties.
You can enjoy your refreshing cup of coffee or lunch break watching the sea and surrounding nature which looks different in every season, weather and moment of the day. We offer sumptuous salads until late evening, and snacks, sandwiches and sweet delicacies throughout the day. The Café is fully licensed and has a good selection of beer, cider, wine and hot and cold drinks. There’s free w-lan connection in the Café.
Café Torpanranta has several museums and places of interest in its neighbourhood. For example, the home museum of architect Alvar Aalto, The Gallen-Kallela Museum, Didrichsen Art Museum, Meilahti Art Museum, Urho Kekkonen Museum and the Seurasaari Open Air Museum are located at a walking distance from Café Torpanranta. The Café is open daily year round, except for Christmas and Midsummer eves and days (check the opening hours on our home page).
